LADYBIRD ANIMAL SANCTUARY

At CS-1 Transportation Inc., we are deeply committed to making a positive impact.  As such we donate $1 for every transaction to a charity within North America. We value the voices of our employees and seek their suggestions to support causes that resonate with them and their communities. This month, our USA Dispatchers have chosen to support a Canadian registered charity operating in Southern Ontario, Ladybird Animal Sanctuary.

This organization is undoubtedly a beacon of hope and compassion. Tirelessly advocating for animals who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. They extend their care to rescue cats, dogs, and small animals. With a special focus on providing a lifeline to seniors, and animals with significant medical needs. Even the ones clearly overlooked or considered “hard to adopt.”

Thanks to their unwavering dedication, hundreds of animals have been successfully rescued and rehabilitated from high-volume shelters across Ontario and Quebec. It should be noted, that while they are unable to accept stray animals or owner surrenders they make it their mission to give animals a second chance. Offering a second chance to shelter animals facing euthanasia or an uncertain future.

Our CS-1 employees are passionate advocates for animal welfare. They feel a deep connection to the mission of this organization, that truly touches our hearts.

By contributing to this charity, we are helping them move closer to their dream of opening a physical sanctuary in the Southern Ontario region. Currently, the Ladybirds rely on the kindness of foster homes to care for these animals.  Our support is a step towards providing them with a permanent haven.
